In this article we tackle the study of a series of pieces made of gold and which belong to the Orientalising period. They have recently been found in Villanueva de la Vera (Cáceres). Their original shape, style, technique and quality, related to the environment of this interesting find shows the local development of the craftsmanship in precious metals, which previously only seemed to take place in centres of deep colonial roots.
