Abstract

A new archaeological excavation in the site of Los Barruecos has provided us an interesting sequence of occupation from the Neolithic to Iron Age. We present in this brief article an interim report on the study of the earliest occupation, which helps us to organise similar evidence in the interior of the Iberian Peninsula in Extremadura.
