A general description of the rescue work in the site of Cerro de la Mesa is presented. The work documented a stratigraphy that covered at least all of the Iron Age. The site has a large wall typologically related with Andalusian and Levantine sites. There is a ritual area with orientalising items. Some domestic structures and a metallurgical workshop related with iron metallurgy were also documented from a later phase.
