It is proposed sorne reflections on a Critical Theory of Archaeology in face of the precedent justifying-normative theories. The object of this critical theory is the consideration cognoscitive aspects of the discipline in a same unit of analysis together with ethical-political questions produced by its praxis in the context of contemporary societies
