A typology proposed fur wheel-turned, painted pottery of the Iberian period in the Guadalquivir river basin leads into an analysis of the development of the Iberian Culture in Andalusia. Within the Guadalquivir basin this cultural complex can be divided into two regions, both typologically and institutionally.
