In this paper we propose a typology of the wheel-turned, painted pottery of the Iberian period in the Guadalquivir river basin. We define 17 basic pottery shapes (Form Groups), which are subdivided into Types and Variants according to morphological and decorative differences in the examples found. The prototypes of the Form Groups, their chronological evolution, and their distribution within the region are also studied.
