Plaza de Moros (Villatobas, Toledo) and the hillforts of the second Iron Age in the middle Tajo basin

The excavations of the last five years in the hillfort of Plaza de Moros are producing interesting information on the Second Iron Age settlement systems in the Middle Tajo Basin. We are beginning to know aspects of the carpetanian settlements in the the Centre of the Peninsula, such as the defensive systems of its settlements and its characteristic urbanism and technology.
