Abstract


Radiocarbon dates at the Iron Age cemetery of Palomar de Pintado, Spain, have given new information about the origins and development of the Carpetana culture in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula. Seven samples of charred bones from eight tombs have shown a complete sequence throughout the first millenium BC.
