The study of balearic metallurgical technology shows different influences and workshops when compared with contemporary mediterranean cultures like Punic, Etrurian or Nuragic. Sorne new quantitative analysis from Late Talayotic Sites are presented. The bulk of analysis are copper alloys (Cu-Sn and Cu-Sn-Pb), but there are a significant number of objects made of copper, that is a caracteristic in balearic metallurgy, perhaps due to the absence of tin in the islands. The technological advance from Pretalayotic and Early Talayotic time al so is commented.
