In this paper we present 5 AMS dates obtained from the paintings found on the uprights of 4 Galician megalithic graves. The results have shown that this art belongs roughly to the first half of the 4th millennium BC and pose the question of the contemporaneity of the building of the chambers and the execution of the paintings and also the occurrence of more than one episode of decoration in them.
